Before getting started, Tim stopped at West Marine to pick up all of the gear he needed to install a new set of solar panels on his sailboat:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Solar Panels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electronic Controller(s)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cable (Duplex conductor, sized per ABYC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wire Terminals (preferably heat-shrink)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-Line Fuse Holders (2 per panel)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fuses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cable Ties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cable Loom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>With the help of the pros at West Marine and Navtronics, Tim and the crew successfully installed new solar panels and is ready for his next journey aboard <em>Billy Pilgrim.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Got a project?
