Burma Boating conducts sailing charters in the Andaman\nand Mergui island groups in the Andaman Sea aboard its fleet\nof restored luxury monohulls and multihulls. Situated between\nThailand and India, the Andaman group includes 325 tropical\nislands covered in lush forest. Itineraries of 10 and 12 days for all-inclusive\ntrips aboard crewed sailboats are available annually. Scheduled charters in the Andamans\nin 2018 include those aboard Meltemi<\/em>, a Lagoon 500, which run\nFebruary 10-20, February 23-March 5, March 10-22 and April 1-13.\nVisas are required, so advance planning is advised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Burma also offers an eight-day itinerary fall through spring\nin the Mergui, an archipelago of 800 islands in the southern\nAndaman Sea off the western shore of the Malay Peninsula. The\nplatform for the all-inclusive trip is Clan VI<\/em>, a restored 130-foot\nketch built by Perini Navi that can take up to 10 guests and six\ncrew.
